George Herbert Walker, U.S. Ambassador to Hungary, and Andras Simonyi, Hungarian Ambassador to the U.S, along with Janos Koka, minister of the economy for Hungary, were the featured guests at the Business and Investment Opportunities in Hungary event at Austin Community Colleges Highland Business Center. more	Education Working to expand the horizons of students on every campus of higher education in the Austin area, International Center of Austin seeks diversity and collaboration in both teaching and learning methods from around the world. While seeking to broaden the views of American students to international opportunities for study and careers focused abroad, we also reach out to the enormous international student population attending local universities. Next year the ICA will begin prescreening and placing interns in Austin-area businesses to gain firsthand international experience. We will also provide low-cost research assistance for companies establishing a worldwide presence. Each year the ICA offers the Gus Garcia Award for Education, reserved for the educator or organization that has provided a leadership role in the exchange of international languages, student/faculty, teaching/learning methodologies, or formation of strategic geographic educational alliances.
