The International Center of Austin is a public/private partnership facilitating business, education and cultural opportunities between Austin and the rest of the world. By facilitating commerce, sharing knowledge and promoting understanding among the cultures of the world, the International Center promotes economic growth by strategically positioning Austin among the top internationally-focussed cities of the world. The Zero to Global Series "Competing Globally" Zero to Global, sponsored by the Austin Technology Council and the International Center of Austin, is a series of some fifteen half day seminars over the coming year dedicated to providing attendees discrete, yet related, aspects of competing in the global marketplace. Participants can attend one, all, or any number of the seminars depending on their expertise, needs, and time available. Seminars will take place primarily at the new International Center of Austin at 201 E. 2nd St. Participants will hear presentations by experts on the seminar topics and have the opportunity for discussion and questions as well as one-on-one time with presenters, sponsors and exhibitors. Each seminar will begin with registration and a continental breakfast from 8:15-9:00 A.M. followed by the conference from 9-12 with a coffee break.
